Abstract

Based on an investigation on truck drivers (truck drivers in the north of Canada), the author discusses the method of ethnography and its implications in anthropology in order to get access to the subjective dimensions of pleasure and suffering at work. A discussion follows related to similarities and differences in terms of the method in clinics of work.
