Abstract

Marine conservation within the framework of environmental law is not enough to focus on environmental aspects, it needs to be interpreted more broadly by positioning the sea as part of national defense. The implementation of marine conservation in the Maritime Law and Environmental Law so far only stands alone, separating the national defense sector which actually has a strong constitutional foundation. The research approach uses normative jurudic with qualitative analysis. The discussion focuses on the biosentric paradigm as an interrelated system between sectors, both protecting marine ecosystems, enforcement law of the sea, developing maritime connectivity, rehabilitation of damage to the marine environment, and increasing the quality and quantity of marine human resources. Through the biosentric paradigm, there are relations between sectors that unite and form a system into a marine defense system. The results of this study conclude that the Maritime Law and Environmental Law can be synchronized with the National Defense Law.
