Abstract

Monanthes subrosulata (M. sect. Sedoidea) from La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain, is described as a species new to science and illustrated. Special attention is paid to the morphological characteristics that differentiate it from the other species of the section (M. anagensis and M. laxiflora), as well as from M. muralis (M. sect. Monanthes). © 2013 BGBM Berlin-Dahlem.
