At a more profound level than political economy, cultures and social structures are constantly generating new forms. Since this genesis has not been adequately conceptualized, a preliminary model for emergent phenomena in complex societies is suggested, analyzing the history and contemporary revolutionary situation of the Nicaraguan Atlantic region Indians.
