Abstract
The low-energy behavior of the transmission coefficient in one dimension and of the phase shifts in two and three dimensions is studied for the Schrödinger equation with central potentials that have finite absolute moments of order between 1 and 2. Resulting modifications of Levinson's theorem are also derived. © 1986 American Institute of Physics.
