PERENCANAAN PONDOK PESANTREN TAHFIDZ QUR'AN DI KOTA TARAKAN DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR ISLAM

Abstract

This research aims to make a Tahfidz Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Planning for prospective students (males) aged 12 years or equivalent to the age of junior high school students to know and understand insights about the Al-Quran both content and meaning contained in it. This Islamic boarding school has a school and a dormitory to live, and has supporting facilities for the needs of the students in the Islamic boarding school.Nowadays, the development of design in buildings is very significant in terms of materials, color choices, motifs, and even shapes. Although there are many modern building designs with elegant concepts, but some architects do not want to be separated from religious designs, that is Islamic Architecture. And also there are more reasons because the largest number of people are Muslims.The planned Tahfidz Qur'an Islamic Boarding School has the concept of Islamic Architecture whose building design is characterized by Islam and its location is in Tarakan City. This Islamic boarding school has an assumption of 432 men (santriwan) and does not include the number of kyai/ustadz and other administrators. This Islamic boarding school has facilities including a mosque, library, canteen, health room (UKS), and a sports field.
