Abstract

The article presents a message from Secretary General Ban Ki-moon of the United Nations (U.N.) regarding the 60th Annual DPI/NGO Conference with a theme of "Climate Change: How It Impacts Us All." He remarks that solving climate change requires adaptation and a fundamental reconsideration of the way people live, how they travel and transact business. A biography of Ban Ki-moon and his priorities as U.N. secretary-general are provided.
