Analisis Transportasi Seaplane terhadap Konektivitas Antar Pulau di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan

Abstract

This paper states that overseas cargo traffic is predominantly handled by ship. Aircraft is not yet sufficiently productive to seriously compete with the ship. Aircraft with a take-off weight ranging from 1000 to 2000 t would show productivities comparable with ships. The seaplane offers the advantage of being able to utilize the infrastructure of the seaports. A preliminary design of a 1000 t flying ship is presented as an example.
