Abstract

We report the complete genome sequences of TI0902, a highly virulent type A1 strain, and TIGB03, a related, attenuated chemical mutant strain. Compared to the wild type, the mutant strain had 45 point mutations and a 75.9-kb duplicated region that had not been previously observed in Francisella species. © 2012, American Society for Microbiology.
