Abstract
This article is about the normativities present in public policy regarding sexuality in postdictatorial Chile. The author presents a prescriptive model of subjectivity and of gender identity which questions supposed neutrality. This study is based on the different defi nitions of sexuality and of subjectivity that are implicit in States programs and policies. The presented model in its prescriptive dimension can not necessarily be assumed equally by all social actors.
