Abstract

Actively developing in recent years, the relationship between the population and commercial banks has a significant impact on the lives of Russians. The authors propose the concept of social space to analyze the social aspects of this phenomenon. The basis of the concept are such categories as trust, goodwill of the bank, financial culture, financial literacy, loyalty and others. The article defines a number of aspects for quantifying these categories. It also raises the problem of understanding the role of banks in the present-day world.
