Abstract

The essential points of the BCF paper are discussed. Developments concerning statistical models of crystal surfaces and computer simulations are treated. New developments in the spiral theory and terrace-ledge-kink model are discussed. Recently observed repeated nucleation hills and growth-stop phenomena are a real challenge for future research. © 1984.
