Abstract

B.T.O. Expedition’s census studies in the deciduous gorge woodland of Glen Nant, mid-Argyll, confirm earlier indications that the most important factor in determining the nature of the breeding bird community is the physical structure of the wood, which in turn reflects the history of human exploitation of the site. © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
