Abstract
The article presents an annotated translation of the manuscript Of colors, written by Isaac Newton in 1666. This manuscript is the main record of the elaboration of the Newtonian theory on light and colors before 1672. The translation is accompanied by a comment, in the form of explanatory footnotes.
