Abstract
The presence of an increasing number of graduates worldwide collides with the difficulties of the current job market to include all this human capital. This generates a trend called overqualification manifested particularly hard between youth and immigrant population. This phenomenon is intensified in the case of foreign origin women, who have many obstacles to find work that matches with their education creating a growing gap. This article aims to analyze the situation of overqualification of immigrant women in the Basque context and certain sociological profiles that explain the factors that influence mismatch between employment and education.
