Abstract
The effect of FeO concentration, H//2 % and H//2O % in reducing gas on the reduction rate in blast furnace slag has been studied by measuring weight-loss changes with time at 1,450 degree C. A value of 3 multiplied by 10** minus **4 cm**2/s is the diffusion coefficient of iron oxide in slag.
