Abstract

0.05). Elevations of serum cortisol, glucose, cholestrol and triglyceride cocentrations were reported in continues dark-regime. Increase of serum osmolality, Na+, K+ and decrease of Ca2+ were also associated with increase of cortisol levels. Results are compared with the few data available in condroestean fish and with those on teleosts. © 2009 Academic Journals Inc.
