Propostas de tipologias de KOS: uma análise das referências de formas dominantes de organização do conhecimento

http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/1518-2924.2015v20nesp1p89 Discusses the parameters of knowledge organization used in KO’s studies taking as object of observation types of KOS. Identifies in the typlogies’s construction, the predominance of opposition figure as a resource used to establish the disjunctions between systems, showing that the variation depends on the starting point adopted for its organization. Highlights aspects privileged in its construction, which generally comprise semantic degrees of force, the use by humans or machines, covered dimensions, references to conceptual backgrounds, more or less relationship with the natural language representation among others. Analyzes the organization principles of ISO 25964 highlighting the mapping capabilities that, in addition to its primary purpose, allows the identification of the parameters of organization. Concludes by observing that prevail in typologies and in the recommendations of thesaurus construction the principles of classical logic standard, introducing a discussion about its implications as regards the complexity of the contemporary world.
