Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to use corn cob waste for the manufacture and physical testing of particle board and epoxy isocyanate resin mixtures. This research was done using corn cob residue that has been ground into 60 mesh with a mixture of 75 gr, 70 gr, 65 gr, 60 gr mixture in a mixture of epoxy isocyanate resin 25 gr, 30 gr, 35 gr, 40 gr to get the best mixing conditions. Variations in the composition of corn cob flour in the best mixed conditions used for the manufacture of particle board are 60% corn cob powder and 40% epoxy isocyanate resin so as to produce physical properties including water content of 10.12%, expansion of thickness 16.54%, and density 0.589 kg / m 3 .
