Abstract

Lipases are the most widely used class of enzymes in organic synthesis due to their high selectivity, mild reaction conditions, environmental acceptability, etc. This article reviews the new progress on lipases catalyzed C-C bond formation reactions, such as aldol condensation, Knoevenagel condensation, Michael addition, Henry reaction, etc. © 2013 Chinese Chemical Society & SIOC, CAS.
