Abstract

Explosion of the bomb occurred on April 15, 2011 in Al Dzikro Mosque Cirebon regional disctric police. This one drew a media attention including Tempo daily. In informing that reality, Tempo daily did not serve as reality mirror but reality constructor/definer. Therefore, knowing Tempo's construction was essential since it is powerfull media which has editor authonomy. The method used in this research was qualitative-descriptive by using framing analysis model as introduced by Pan and Kosicki. The results was Tempo Daily regarded perpetrator of this bomb exlosion as part of suicidal action. The actor affiliated with a group of local network specially Aceh. News structure studied was schematic, skrips, thematic and rhetoric. Schmetically, Tempo associated suicidal bomber with teror in homeland. Skrips: Tempo daily put comments quoted so as to be in complimentary and in detail stated.Thematically, Tempo daily believed that bomber had a link to local network and specially Aceh where supposedly Abu Bakar Baasyir got involved. Rhetorically, Tempo did aposition and emphasizing by using grafic element.
