EFEKTIVITAS MICROSOFT EXCEL DALAM MENINGKATKAN AKURASI LAPORAN KEUANGAN: STUDI LITERATUR

Abstract

Transparent financial management is a major issue in the field of small-medium enterprises and among educational institutions and non-profit organizations in Indonesia. Low financial literacy and the lack of the use of simple technology also lead to poor financial recording and reporting. The aim of this study is to integrate the findings of various service learning and training activities using Microsoft Excel as an aid to financial management. With a descriptive-qualitative literature review approach, findings show that Excel training can enhance individual and organizational competence in creating financial reports systematically and following the standard SAK-EMKM. It has improved the accuracy of recording, operational efficiency, and participants’ understanding of the significance of financial information. Thus, Microsoft Excel can be a strategic and cost-effective solution to strengthen financial management and financial literacy in the sector of the people’s economy.
