Abstract

With a self-developed laboratory pyrolysis device, the effects of the materials particle size on the yield of Jinjie coal and lime co-pyrolysis products and gas components were investigated. The results shows that the raw material particle size has a significant effect on the coal pyrolysis process. With the decrease of raw material particle size, the tar yield in the pyrolysis product decreases, while the pyrolysis gas yield increases, and the H2 content in the pyrolysis gas increases. As the same time, the temperature distribution and volatiles precipitation rate of materials with different particle sizes were measured, and the macro-reaction kinetic parameters of the co-pyrolysis of coal and lime have been obtained.
