Abstract

A smart design: Magnetically recoverable catalysts that use dendritic ligands to remain either directly on the surface of iron oxide nanoparticles, or on a silica intermediary layer, allow the fabrication of catalysts with significantly enhanced catalytic properties for a wide range of reactions.
