PENGEMBANGAN DESAIN MOTIF BATIK REYOG BULKIYO DALAM MENDUKUNG DESA WISATA KEMLOKO, KECAMATAN NGLEGOK, KABUPATEN BLITAR

Abstract

Kemloko Village is an area with abundant natural and cultural wealth. This potential is then explored and used as an asset for the development of the Kemloko Tourism Village. These potentials are then classified into several Kemloko Village tourism programs that are offered to the general public, and currently Kemloko Village is intensively developing the tourist village. Therefore, the support of typical souvenirs or souvenirs that are able to attract tourists is needed. One of the typical works of art that already exists in Kemloko Village and has the potential to be used as souvenirs is the Reyog Bulkiyo batik cloth. This Reyog Bulkiyo batik cloth has received a patent filed by Pokdarwis Kemoloko Village. However, when viewed from the design, the Reyog Bulkiyo batik motif is still traditional, the colors are less varied so that the impression is monotonous, boring, old-fashioned, and old. It is ironic, when the community has local potential that has economic value but is not developed. Based on the problems above, the focus of this service activity is to provide knowledge and understanding batik, batik techniques, and how to develop batik motifs to the target group, namely Pokdarwis. The implementation method is formulated as follows: in-depth situation analysis as the basis for program implementation; FGD with village officials, batik design experts, Reyog Bulkiyo art activists to share perceptions, visions, and missions; training and mentoring in making batik on an ongoing basis; and evaluation monitoring. The result of this activity is the innovation of new Reyog Bulkiyo batik cloth with new motifs. The first batik cloth consists of a combination of three motifs, namely Reyog Bulkiyo dancers, slompret, and moonlight. While the second batik cloth consists of two motifs, namely the motifs of Reyog Bulkiyo dancers and barong.Desa Kemloko merupakan daerah dengan kekayaan alam dan budaya yang melimpah. Potensi inilah yang kemudian dieksplor dan dijadikan sebagai aset pengembangan Desa Wisata Kemloko. Potensi-potensi tersebut kemudian diklasifikasikan menjadi beberapa program wisata Desa Kemloko yang ditawarkan pada masyarakat umum. Saat ini Desa Kemloko sedang gencar-gencarnya mengembangkan desa wisata tersebut. Oleh sebab itu dukungan komoditi oleh-oleh khas atau cinderamata yang mampu memikat wisatawan sangat diperlukan. Salah satu karya seni khas yang telah ada di Desa Kemloko dan berpotensi untuk dijadikan oleh-oleh adalah kain batik Reyog Bulkiyo. Kain batik Reyog Bulkiyo ini telah mendapatkan hak paten yang diajukan oleh Pokdarwis Desa Kemoloko. Namun, jika dilihat dari desainnya, motif batik Reyog Bulkiyo masih tradisional, warna-warna yang kurang bervariasi sehingga kesannya monoton, cepat membosankan, kuno, dan tua. Ironis, ketika masyarakat memiliki potensi lokal yang bernilai ekonomis tetapi tidak dikembangkan. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, fokus kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang seputar batik, teknik membatik, dan bagaimana pengembangan motif batik kepada kelompok sasaran yaitu pokdarwis. Metode pelaksanaan dirumuskan sebagai berikut: analisis situasi secara mendalam sebagai landasan pelaksanaan program; FGD bersama pihak desa, ahli desain batik, pegiat kesenian Reyog Bulkiyo untuk penyamaan persepsi, visi, dan misi; pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan batik secara berkelanjutan; dan monitoring evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa inovasi kain batik Reyog Bulkiyo baru dengan motif-motif baru. Kain batik pertama terdiri dari kombinasi tiga motif yaitu penari Reyog Bulkiyo, slompret, dan sinar rembulan. Sedangkan kain batik kedua terdiri dari dua motif yaitu motif penari Reyog Bulkiyo dan barong.
