Abstract
The use of renewable energy is needed in saving electricity from fossil fuels. The power data logger is used to determine the total household energy usage according to real-time behaviour. In this research, use of total energy used for the design of solar panel energy installations uses the Helioscope and Homer applications to find out how much power can be saved, the total Net present cost (NPC) by grid and solar panel, and the initial capital in installing solar energy panels. In a 2.200VA household with electrical energy according to consumer behaviour, which is around 9.82 kWh installing seven 300Wp solar panels is a maximum installation for 2,200VA powered residential.
