Abstract
This research proposes a compact 4x4 MIMO coplanar waveguide antenna for 5G NR and Wi-Fi 6 applications. The antenna has a size of 34x32x1.6 mm and operates in the 4.2-7 GHz band. By cutting slots on the ground and radiator, the mutual coupling is reduced to less than -15 dB between adjacent and opposite elements and less than -25 dB between diagonal elements. The antenna achieves good measured gains (3–6 dBi) and efficiency (60%-80%). The proposed antenna is suitable for high-performance wireless communication systems that require a small and low-cost MIMO antenna.
