Abstract
This paper investigates relationships between the process of conception and production in digital domain with reference to the very nature of architect’s profession. Authors combine some theories of actual paradigm shift with specific mechanisms of digital fabrication. A scope of control and collaboration strategies will be cited and a few next will be developed as an aftermath of the FABRICATE 2011 conference and publication. These remarks can be seen as an attempt to outline essential design principles for digital master builder architects.
