Abstract
With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology, its application in integrated circuit design has become a significant research focus. AI technologies, particularly deep learning and machine learning algorithms, have been extensively applied in multiple aspects of integrated circuits, including hardware acceleration, design optimization, and system integration. This paper investigates the development trends and research hotspots of AI in integrated circuit design through a bibliometric analysis of relevant literature in the Web of Science Core Collection database, combined with visualization tools CiteSpace and VOSviewer. By analyzing relevant literature from 2003 to 2025, this study reveals the evolution of the knowledge structure in this field, focusing on identifying key technologies and research trends at the intersection of AI and integrated circuit design. Additionally, this paper explores collaboration models among global research institutions and nations in this domain, while further analyzing future development directions such as low-power design and electronic design automation (EDA). Findings indicate that with enhanced hardware efficiency and deep algorithmic integration, AI will play an increasingly vital role in integrated circuit design.
