Abstract

Few young people believe in a religion, and very few who claim to be practitioners. Secularization is seen as making religion disappear. The study analyzes the different factors that intervene in this loss of religiousness of young people and their impact on the development of their daily lives. As well as knowing their idea of the religious institution, what aspects are necessary for a person to be religious. The loss of family religious socialization and the abandonment of the transcendental are the cause of this process. Young people have a negative image of religious institutions.
