Abstract

As espécies do gênero Megasoma são besouros de médio e grande porte cuja biologia ainda é pouco conhecida. Megasoma anubis foi registrada no Parque Estadual Carlos Botelho. Por ser exigente ecologicamente, identificável em campo e importante para a ciclagem de nutrientes, sugere-se sua utilização como bioindicador.
