Correlation between Physical Activity and "Pender's Health Promotion Model” Factors in Employee of Health Insurance and Insurance Atyeh Sazan Hafez in the Hamadan Province

Abstract

Introduction: The survival and success of organizations can result in organizational health. The aim of this research is to determine the correlation of organizational health with job burnout and productivity in Mahshahr Petroleum Industry Health Organization Nurses in Iran in 2015. Methods: This research is a descriptive-correlational study. The participants are 150 nurses who are working in the health centers affiliated to the Mahshahr Petroleum industry health organization. "Lowe's Organizational Health Questionnaire", "Maslach Burnout Inventory" and "Hersey and Goldsmiths' Productivity Questionnaire" are used to collect data. The Content validity and reliability are measured by 10 academic experts and 30 participants. Data is analyzed by SPSS 21. Results: Results show a significant correlation between organizational health and organizational productivity (r = 0.60, P < 0.01). Furthermore, there is a significant negative correlation between organizational health and job burnout (r =-0.38, P< 0.01). Conclusions: There is a significant correlation between organizational health and organizational productivity and a significant negative correlation between organizational health and job burnout. Therefore, it is recommended that top managers, promote organizational health by establishing human relationships, social interaction and intervention programs.
