A convenient category of topological spaces.

Abstract

This chapter describes the category of compactly generated Hausdorff spaces. These Hausdorff spaces contain almost all important spaces in topology. Restricting to this category and its internal operations, it provides stronger results with usually cleaner statements. These results are also presented in the chapter.
