Abstract

This chapter describes the category of compactly generated Hausdorff spaces. These Hausdorff spaces contain almost all important spaces in topology. Restricting to this category and its internal operations, it provides stronger results with usually cleaner statements. These results are also presented in the chapter. The chapter contains excerpts from the work by Steenrod. © 1975, Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
