Abstract

PET is most realistic diagnostic tool for the clinical usage of molecular imaging in oncology. Especially hybrid PET/CT is now clinically available. PET ligands for the visualization of angiogenesis, tumor hypoxia and apoptosis in tumor lesion has been developed. Molecular imaging with PET ligands may be promising diagnostic tool for performing the personalized medicine.
