Abstract

The process of extension of the front of radical polymerization is analysed. A study is made of the relations between the rate of stationary extension of the polymerization front, maximum degree of conversion, non-stationary period and the concentration of the monomer, initiator, ignition temperature and initial temperature with and without gel formation. Conditions are postulated in which the stationary extension of the front will take place in the system. © 1976.
