Abstract

Three cases of acute posterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy are presented. Fluorescein angiographic and electrophysiological studies of the retina were performed. No cause of this affection could be demonstrated. Data are presented which suggest that this entity may be a choriocapillaritis rather than a pigment epitheliopathy.
