Abstract

This article discusses the importance of sexual education, revealing statistical data about the early sexual life of adolescent adolescents, the objective is to analyze the causes that motivate unwanted pregnancy, scientifically substantiating the context, content and areas of sexual education. The bibliographic, field and descriptive research was used as a methodology, surveying 76 students of the first year of the baccalaureate level of the Blanca Martinez de Tinajero Educational Unit, which allowed to know the opinions and attitudes of the subject. The causes of unwanted pregnancies are poor sexual education. Students consider their parents to be the ones who must give information. Educational institutions should pro-pose an integrative model, encompassing the understanding of psychological, emotional, physical and mental aspects, focusing on the exercise of sexuality from the point of view of rights, gender, personal development.
