Abstract

A study is presented of microfilming of engineering drawings. The system was implemented originally for security and occasional referencing, but it developed into a more organized controlled productive use of microfilm replacing full-size print reproductions along with a unique manual retrieval and refiling system of microfilm aperture cards. Included is an expedient method of receiving reproduction requests with a back-up delivery system.
