KONSEP SISTEM PERADILAN PIDANA KHUSUS PEREMPUAN KORBAN KEKERASAN

Abstract

Violence against women is a severe problem because it has not received an adequate response, so it requires serious handling. Therefore, there is a concept of a criminal justice system specifically for women victims of violence that can be realised by involving the police, public prosecutors and female judges. Of course, this is included in the authority of the general judiciary. Only the technical implementation is adjusted to the conditions of women victims of violence so that it can fulfil the purpose of protecting and fulfilling women's rights as victims of violence. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between the criminal justice sub-systems and strengthen the capacity of human resources to handle and resolve cases of violence against women in Indonesia.
