Abstract

The key to an efficient finite-element analysis is frequently an effective finite-element mesh. The construction of this mesh is the first step in the analysis process. Two types of mesh generation methods - schemes for structured and unstructured meshes - are discussed. A finite element model for adaptive meshing is also presented and described.
