Abstract
This researchaimstostudy the effect ofthe interactionbetweensoaking timeandthe concentration ofGA3hormonesthataffect thevigor, and viabilityof seedsTeak(Tectona grandisLf) in the nursery, as well as findingthe length of timeof immersionandthebesthormone concentrationGA 3 onvigor, and viabilityof seedsteakin the nursery.Experimentsusing arandomized block design(RBD) factorial design, whichconsists oftwofactors:the length ofimmersionandconcentration ofGA 3 hormones. The first factoris the length ofimmersion(W), consisting offour levels: w 1 =Immersion6hoursinGA 3 , w2=Immersion12hoursinGA 3 , w 3 =Immersion18hoursinGA 3 andw 4 =Immersion24 hoursinGA 3. The second factoris theconcentration ofhormonesGA 3 (A), consistingoffour levels: a 1 =concentration of250ppmGA 3 hormones, a 2 =concentration of500ppmGA 3 hormones, a 3 =concentration of750ppmGA 3 hormones, a 4 =concentration of1000 ppmGA 3 hormones.The results showedthat the interactionbetween thedurationof immersionandhormoneconcentrationGA 3 onseedgermination, and seedgrowingspeed. The duration ofimmersion18hoursandhormoneconcentrationof 750ppmGA 3 givethe besteffectonseedgerminationandseedgrowth rate.
