Abstract
New fibrous adsorbents were prepared by modification of cellulose fiber by graft polymerization of glycidyl methacrylate followed by introduction of diethylenetriamine and 2-pyridylmethylamine as the metal-binding site. Rapid and high adsorption of Rh(III) was achieved using the fibrous adsorbents, combining with microwave irradiation. © 2010 The Chemical Society of Japan.
