Abstract

La lecture d’un ensemble d’articles et de comptes-rendus de recherche en sciences de l’information et de la communication inspire un certain nombre de réflexions à un directeur de recherche qui nous en fait part. Ses remarques concernent aussi bien l’utilisation des « hypothèses de recherche » que la formulation d’une « bonne problématique » ou que l’explicitation d’une « méthodologie appropriée » en passant par la définition d’un « bon cadrage » ou la nécessité de se montrer préoccupé des retombées scientifiques et techniques de la recherche. Bien entendu ses « conseils » révèlent des positions épistémologiques, théoriques et pratiques précises sur lesquelles, d’ailleurs, il souhaite que s’instaure un vrai débat entre les chercheurs de la discipline.By reading articles and reports about communication and information science research, a supervisor was deeply inspired by many thoughts he lets us know. The comments he mode deals as with the use of « research hypothesis « as with the wording of a « good problematics » or with the explanation of an « appropriated methodology » through the definition of a « correct context » or the necessity to show an interest for technical and scientific consequences for research. Obviously, his « advices » reveal precise epistemological, theorical and practical points of view from which, by the way, he wishes a real debate to be installed between specialized researchers in this field.
