Abstract

The crystal structure of 4-bromo benzoylmethylenediphenyldiphenylphosphinomethylphosphorane was determined by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallized in a monoclinic system and was characterized thus: P21/c, a = 13.3489(16)Å, b = 18.933(2)Å, c = 11.3211(14)Å, β = 101.735(2), Z = 4, V = 2801.4(6)Å3. The crystal was solved by direct methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares on F2 to final values of R1 = 0.0379 and wR2 = 0.0682. © The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry.
