Abstract
The use of solar energy is an alternative for more sustainable and economical energy generation. The application of this innovation in agribusiness has demonstrated satisfactory results, featuring a possibility of combining productivity and sustainability. This study investigated the technical and economic feasibility of implementing an integrated family fish farming system using solar energy. A load survey of the electrical equipment used in the daily management of fish farming was carried out, as an estimate of the equipment and quantities required for the photovoltaic project, as well as a survey of the costs of implementing the Off-Grid system, including materials, labor, and taxes for legalized operation. From the data analyzed, it was found that the estimated monthly consumption would be 359.45 kWh. Considering that the implementation of this system will be in a family fish farm, with a total investment of R$ 26,826.99, the payback will be approximately 52 months. Technically, it is a project that meets the needs, with all the necessary equipment included in the calculations, allowing the supply of energy even at night, since some equipment needs to be connected all day. Therefore, from a technical and economic point of view, implementing the Off-Grid isolated photovoltaic system in a family fish farm is viable.
