Abstract

The growth of both species of New Zealand freshwater eel, Anguilla australis and A. dieffenbachii, was studied by tagging in three streams using a stainless steel subcutaneous tag. Possible causes of the differences in growth rates are discussed. © Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
