Abstract

The basic features of the method of integral equations in the theory of liquids are discussed. One of the central problems of the theory, the definition of the bridge-functional, is analyzed. Example applications of the method to simple liquid systems are discussed. The problem of treating complex multi-atomic classical systems is considered.
