Abstract
We report four cases of a finding of communicationbetween the endometrial cavity and adenomyotic lesionsobserved during saline contrast sonohysterography. Ineach case there was a saline-filled defect extending fromthe endometrial cavity into the myometrium in the regionof previously suspected adenomyosis. We believe thisfinding represents the sonohysterographic correlate ofendometrium invading the myometrium, as has beendescribed histologically. Copyright © 2010 ISUOG.
