Abstract

Recent studies of school dental screening and general dental practice in the North West of England may have provided an evidence base for the review of dental school screening and its improvement by increasing: the relevance of referral criteria, the rate of attendance resulting from screening, and treatment rates following referral - rather than for abandoning the process altogether. © 2007 Nature Publishing Group.
