Abstract
The review is devoted to the hydrodynamic cumulative processes in a plasma and to the possibility to use such processes in a controlled nuclear fusion. The cumulation of converging shock waves and the physical processes which limit the cumulation are discussed in detail. Investigation results on non-one-dimensional cumulative shock waves having been obtained recently are also reviewed. 1 table. 9 figs. 120 refs.
